GTA Chinatown Wars Lite: Not everything has a price tag

May 27, 2010

One of the most popular games on app store earns a freebie tag for itself. The Developers behind this masterpiece, Rockstar games have recently launched a lite version of GTA Chinatown wars and have bounced back among the fleet of major iphone apps developer.

Chinatown wars display a combination of amazing graphics and easy to use controls and mind-blowing explosion effects which makes it really appealing to the users. The game concept just like a typical GTA story is based on a storyline of a Chinese guy Huang lee who is on mission to save the family empire by delivering an ancient sword to his uncle. But what starts off as a simple revenge tale grows in scope, with a criminal world about to explode as gangs square off for control.

The game uses a virtual stick for walking movement which works really smoothly.  One problem you might face with this game is the layered menus which can take time getting used to but the mission variety and production value easily makes up for the shortcomings. Overall, Chinatown wars lives up to the GTA name and won’t disappoint you. You can get a full version of the game, for $9.99 which is almost one-fifth of the version available on the Playstation 3. This is one of 2010’s must-have freebie apps, a Go-Getter.
