It all started in 1989, when this epic masterpiece came out for the first time and took everyone away with it’s game play, storyline, graphics but now, after 21 years it’s almost like re-living the classic adventure. You must escape a dungeon within an hour in order to stop the evil vizier from marrying the princess. Prince of Persia was and remains a landmark game. The game itself remained the same, but the updated visuals are indeed excellent.
Almost every room presents an opportunity for death or surrender. The dungeon below the palace is the deadliest place in the kingdom. Prince of Persia uses on-screen virtual buttons instead of D-pad. Running and Jumping are handled with arrows. Thanks to accurate multi-touch, pulling off running jumps and other acrobatics is easy. Obviously, figuring out where is your next path is always tricky.
Lastly, Prince of Persia Retro is a universal app. Ubisoft did an amazing job at keeping the graphics neat and clean. The Game play is extremely smooth and retro-ish, which is pretty good. For just 99 cents, Ubisoft gifts you one of the most celebrated games of the last twenty years. Get your Hands on it!
