Pocket God Comics based on the famous game Pocket God stars those same pygmies but with different personalities. The app features just the first issue of the comic. So far, Bolt is planning on a four-issue miniseries planned, and the story focuses on the question: exactly how and why are the pygmies immortal? What brings them back to life each time they die? Additionally, one of the pygmies starts demanding why they follow the whims of gods who so obviously like to torture them.
In the first issue, the pygmies die and are reborn various times, just as in the app. The app makes use of iVerse’s comics app as a basis, you can either view panels in portrait mode or in landscape mode, where panels are displayed one by one. The other 3 issues will be available via in-app purchase. Pocket God Comics is a great way to rejoice what all Pocket God offered. The graphics are cool, the story sheds light on the main app, and $0.99 is a steal as far as the success of Pocket God is concerned.
