Robo Dude Review for iPad

October 15, 2010

Robo Dude is a great addition to the Brick Breaker games with a romantic storyline to it. The game sets in an indefinite time and space, far off into the future and Robo Dude, the main character of the game is lonely and sad and he and his two pet animals need your help to create a loving companion for Robo Dude.

Gameplay: The gameplay of Robo Dude is pretty simple just like other brick breaker games you must bounce balls off of bricks with a paddle. In over 80 unique levels, your task is to collect silver coins and the blue and green energy balls which in exchange gives you special bonuses and weapons although it might sound like an easy thing to do but with only three lives and progressively demanding levels the task gets difficult and challenging yet enjoyable. A variety of power ups are also available like other brick breaker games which will help you proceed to the next level.  If you are looking to compete on online leader boards or want to play multiplayer you will be disappointed as Robo dude features none. Hopefully, the update will provide us the integration with game centre and other such online leader boards.

Controls & Graphics: The controls are fairly responsive and easy to control with smooth finger movements. Moreover you also have an option to control the paddle either by tilt or by touch. The graphics of the game are very appealing and looks stunning on the iPad screen. If you are looking for multiplayer and online leader boards you will be disappointed as there are none in Robo Dude.

The Bottom Line: Robo Dude creates a very challenging and addicting experience for a casual gamer and especially for Brick Breaking fans. The game is compatible with iPad and is available on the app store in Lite and Full versions.
