Apple’s Second Gen iPad 2 to Feature LCD Screen

December 8, 2010

Another tiny update (but may very well prove to be a major one) on what’s happening in Apple’s backyard. This piece of update is concerned with iPad 2’s screen, which doesn’t look surprising at all. According to reports from Digitimes, Apple have ordered Back Light Units (BLUs) for the production of the next version of their highly-successful tablet.

Apple’s Retina display quality is far superior than the current AMOLED devices in the market even the overall display quality of lower specifications iPad and iPod Touch screens is better when comapred to the Amoled screens. What I like most about Apple is it’s improvisation on it’s products specially on the display term, they never stick with the same level of technology. The iPhone 4’s retina display is one of the best display in the smartphone market. So, there is absolutely no concern about people not liking it. The second generation iPad is likely to hit the marketplace at the end of the first quarter of 2011 and suppliers in the supply chain are estimated to start shipments in the first quarter.

With many new features like Facetime, Gyroscope and an unlikely USB Port as we told you earlier, this LCD Screen is going to be a huge addition to the second generation iPad 2 and will more likely help in the subject “What new in iPad 2″.

Improvising on the quality of retina display, If Apple pulls off this one, I don’t think there’s going to be anyone on this planet judging Apple’s ways and techniques of keeping customers happy and satisfied.
