This is the kind of news that I’ve been wanting to hear since I joined the Playstation Network and bought an iPhone 4. Sony is set to launch it’s Playstation app for Android and iOS users which would let us access the PlayStation Network at no cost whatsoever.
The Playstation app will let us access our trophies and find all the latest games, newsand hardware for your PlayStation 3, PSP and PlayStation 2. You can also share the latest news and updates with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or via e-mail. But, one thing you can’t do is play games with it, we knew it but still, sad face.
The thing that concerns me the most is that they haven’t stated anywhere whether this will be available for US or not as it written on their Press release that the app will be available in the following countries: UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and The Netherlands at launch and more next year. I hope they realize their tiny mistake.
