Teenager got Punched for not turning off his iPhone during takeoff

December 29, 2010

A 68-year old man named Russell Miller punched a 15-year-old teenager after the boy denied to switch off his iPhone. The Passengers and the crew present on the flight said the boy was playing games and listening to music when they spread their final announcment. This incident happened during a Southwest flight from Las Vegas Tuesday night.

Reports say the teenager didn’t react to the announcement because he had earphones attached to his eardrums and the angry man, Russell sitting next to him punched him in the arm for not following the announcement made by the flight crew. The teenager was travelling in the fight without his parents.

The 68-year old man was ultimately arrested by the police waiting for him to land on the airport(that was quick) for punching the boy on the arm which left a mark on his arm as told by a passenger on the flight. Boy oh boy, what was that man thinking, the other passengers would appreciate the action taken on the little boy.
