There’s never a day without those sparkling rumors of the next generation iPhone but this time it’s something totally fresh but not that believable, the next apple device could feature a curved-glass display just like the samsung nexus S.
According to few industry sources, Apple has recently purchased 200-300 glass cutting machines which are being employed for producing curved glass displays. It’s also been said that the high cost of this equipment makes cover glass suppliers hesitant to invest in the technology themselves, but apple has used some of its own funds to provide them with the necessary equipment.
The Samsung Nexus S was the first smartphone to feature a curved-glass display concave curved glass display but it seems highly unlikely that apple will go on producing a phone with curved-glass display.
I’ve never used the samsung nexus S but wouldn’t it be difficult to play games on a mobile with curved-glass display, anyways it would be cool to see the next iPhone with something totally different, think outside the box.
