Fluke HD Review for iPad

August 25, 2011

The pleasure of playing board games on an iPad is totally different, with a bigger screen they are always fun to play with family and friends. They are especially enjoyed more when a bunch of people play it together and Fluke HD for iPad lets you do the same, developed by Local Aliens, LLC, Fluke HD is a board game for iPad which lets you play with upto 6 players at the same time.

The game is a combination of strategy and luck, blending the all time favorite ludo and snakes & ladders. Each player starts off with throwing the dice and has to get a six in order to start just like the good old ludo. Each player has four pieces and the aim of the game is to get your pieces across the finish line one by one in order to win the game. Well, that may sound simple but as you proceed in the game you will face various obstacles along your way sometimes getting stuck and sometimes flying in an orb. Although the game is not strategically challenging but its different play modes might help in increasing the difficulty, making it more interesting.

The graphics of the game are vibrant with an easy to use interface and simple mechanism. And the perky game music and sound effects will get right into the game mood. Fluke HD also offers 5 uniquely themed board layouts and more to come in future, un-lockable game achievements, to make it more challenging and keep you engaged for a long time. The game is enabled with both Game Center and OpenFient, so you have the option to choose.

Overall, Fluke HD is an enjoyable and fun board game when played with family or friends or even with online opponents. One way or the other you are sure to have some good time with people and with the updates, which would include more stunning boards, it would get even more amazing. The app is available on the app store for 99 cents and is compatible with iPad.
