I have a young son and I take his education very seriously. He’s not particularly good at learning new things, so I’m always looking for things that would help him get better at learning and understanding new things. For that reason, I am always looking for educational applications for my iPhone that can help. Baby Flash Cards is the app that got him excited, it is an educational app which would help your child in learning the basic things in life and moreover, making your child nature-aware.
The app starts with a simple menu which has a Let’s Learn button in the middle and a settings icon at the bottom-left corner with some beautiful animals in the background. The app is very easy to operate, specially made for kids so that they have no difficulty in using the app. The cards are divided into seven different categories such as Animals, Fruits and Vegetables, Numbers, Shapes etc, Pressing the Let’s Learn button takes you to a picture of an object and by swiping your finger to the left, you are taken to the next picture of the same category, you can choose to randomise the pictures by making changes in the settings menu.
The graphics of the app are very cute and kid friendly. Overall, Baby Flash Cards is an educational app for children which makes use of rich pictures and turns them into a fun learning experience for your children. This app is a bit young for my son but he still loves it. I wish I would of gotten this for him when he was in kindergarten. The app is available for 99cents on the app store and is compatible with both iPhone and iPod Touch.
