Shatter Crash developed by NAKAI Entertainment is the latest in the puzzle game category is a remake of classic Tetris puzzle with a twist, 3D spherical puzzles and RPG-style gaming is what best describes this game. Though it may have been adopted from Tetris there is lot more to it than just simple block matching.
Shatter crash is based on outer space with a storyline of infected nodes and nanobots trapped at the core of each spherical puzzle wherein your task is to cure the infected nodes and rescue the nanobots by solving the 3D puzzle on each sphere which has many layers within and solving those layers in shatter crash won’t be so easy as they get more n more tricky and challenging after each layer. The graphics of the game are absolutely fantastic and goes well with the overall outer space theme.
The game features fast and furious puzzles wherein there is limited time to solve the puzzles and get huge combos. And, figuring out how to best navigate your way down to the core can be a bit tricky until you get the hang of it which makes it even more challenging and you will really engrossed in the game for hours it is that entertaining. Shatter crash also allows you to customize your characters with powerful equipments so it’s not just a puzzle game but there is much more to it. The controls are pretty easy to manage with a user friendly interface.
Overall, Shatter Crash is an engrossing and well polished game with 3D graphics, upbeat music and a great game play which provides hours of brain teasing fun. The game is compatible with iPad and is available on iTunes for 1.99$.
